1. Who We Are

CalcProTool is operated by Pratik and the CalcProTool Team, based in Helsinki, Finland, European Union. As an EU-based service, we operate under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For privacy enquiries, contact us at help.calcprotool@gmail.com.

2. Calculator Data — None Collected

Every calculator on CalcProTool performs all computations locally in your browser using JavaScript. When you enter a salary figure, a loan amount, a health measurement, or any other value into a calculator:

• The data is processed entirely on your device
• Nothing is transmitted to CalcProTool servers
• Nothing is stored in a database
• Nothing is visible to us or any third party
• The data is discarded when you close or refresh the page

This applies to all calculators without exception — including financial calculators, health calculators, and any calculator that handles sensitive personal information.

3. Analytics

We use anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand how the site is used and which calculators are most valuable. This data includes:

• Pages visited and time spent (no personal identification)
• Geographic region (country-level only, not precise location)
• Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
• Referring website (where you came from)
• Browser type and operating system

This data does not identify you personally and cannot be linked to any specific individual. We do not use advertising analytics, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking.

4. Cookies

CalcProTool uses minimal, functional cookies only:

• Session preference cookies: Store your unit system preference (metric/imperial) and theme preference (light/dark) so you do not need to re-select these on each visit. These contain no personal data.
• Analytics cookies: Anonymous session identifiers used by our analytics system to distinguish page views. These do not identify you personally.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or persistent identification cookies.

5. Contact Form Data

If you contact us via email or a contact form, we retain your email address and message content only for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list, share your contact details with any third party, or retain your data longer than necessary to resolve your query (typically no longer than 12 months).

6. Advertising

CalcProTool may display advertisements to fund the free provision of this service. If we use Google AdSense or similar advertising networks, those services may use cookies to serve contextually relevant advertisements. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ad Settings or by enabling browser privacy features. We do not have access to or control over cookies used by advertising partners.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As an EU-based service, we comply with GDPR. As a user, you have the right to:

• Access any personal data we hold about you (we hold none from calculator use)
• Request deletion of any contact data you have submitted
• Object to processing of your personal data
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Finland: the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman)

8. Third-Party Links

CalcProTool links to official government websites (IRS, HMRC, ATO, etc.) as data sources. These external sites have their own privacy policies which are independent of ours. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of CalcProTool after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
